Job description

Dynamic Practice & Superior Support:

  • Young, Collaborative Group: Join a vibrant team consisting of six OB/GYNs and one GYN. This is a cohesive, attractive group designed for long-term professional growth.
  • Optimal Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a structured Monday-Friday (8 am - 5 pm) schedule. Your week is balanced with 2 clinic days, 2 OR days, and only 1 call day.
  • Elite Call Structure: Benefit from No Primary Call-you serve as 1:6 back-up call only. With 24/7 Laborist coverage, you have the freedom to have a Laborist deliver for you while on call.
  • High-Volume Productivity: Manage a robust clinical load with an average of 80 patients per week and 3-5 surgical cases per day. The facility handles 1,600-1,700 deliveries annually.
  • Advanced Facilities: Practice in a New Surgical Tower (completed 2019) and a newly renovated clinic (2022) located right across the street from the hospital.

Market-Leading Compensation & Financial Incentives:

  • High Earning Potential: Start with a guaranteed salary of $325,000 plus production from Day 1. Top providers are currently earning well above $600,000 annually.
  • Comprehensive Signing Package: Enjoy a signing bonus, relocation assistance, and Student Loan Forgiveness (structured as a three-year forgivable loan).
  • Additional Rewards: Participate in ACO Shared Savings (CEP program).
  • Full Executive Benefits: Includes 5 weeks of PTO for vacation or CME, a $3,500 annual CME allowance, and a 403B/401k with employer matching.

Why Practice Here?

  • Unmatched Affordability: Jonesboro's cost of living is at least 15% cheaper than the national average, allowing your high earnings to go much further.
  • Award-Winning Culture: St. Bernards has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in Arkansas" for 10 consecutive years.
  • Educational Excellence: Home to Arkansas State University and a Medical School (NYIT), plus three award-winning public school districts.
  • Outdoor Paradise: Known for world-class hunting, fishing, ATV trails, and water sports.
  • Urban Access: Enjoy a revitalized downtown with diverse dining, while being just 1 hour from Memphis and 2 hours from Little Rock.

Clinical Environment & Infrastructure:

  • Medical Excellence: A 438-bed Level III Trauma Center serving a 600,000-patient population.
  • Specialized Care: Level IIIA NICU with 16 beds and a dedicated 4-bed OB Emergency Department with two OR rooms on the floor.
  • Support Staff: Backed by 3 NPs, 2 PPNs, and an in-house OB Anesthesiologist.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Must be able to obtain an Arkansas medical license if not already holding one.
  • Open to American medical graduates and International medical graduates (Visa sponsorship available).
  • Experience is preferred, but we welcome applications from those in-practice or preparing to complete training.
