Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced OB/GYN physician for a 24-hour beeper call locums assignment in Bardstown, Kentucky. This inpatient role offers ongoing coverage needs into 2026 with responsibilities focused on labor management, patient rounding, emergency consults, and full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care.
We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN with strong inpatient experience who is comfortable managing labors, performing deliveries and C-sections, and responding to emergency department consults. The ideal candidate is confident, adaptable, and experienced in urgent OB and GYN surgical care.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Bardstown, KY
- Setting: Inpatient – L&D and OB/GYN Hospitalist Coverage
- Schedule: 24-hour beeper call
- Coverage Needs: December 20–26, and ongoing needs into 2026
Responsibilities Include:
- Patient rounding
- Management of active labors
- Management of antepartum triage and treatment
- Responding to ER consults for OB/GYN issues
- Full-scope inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care

RN support on Labor & Delivery
