OBGYN Leadership position in Olympia, Washington (WA)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OBGYN physician to join a team of eight providers and take on a leadership role in Olympia, Washington (WA). This position includes clinical responsibilities and .2 FTE Medical Director duties to help stabilize the department, implement processes and workflows, mentor colleagues, and assist in recruiting a permanent medical director. Ideally to begin in February 2026, this is a department leadership role that offers long term ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Average deliveries per year: 650

Outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth coverage

Patients per shift: 18–24

Department beds: 14

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive OB and GYN care, including surgery

Serve as a surgical mentor; robotic experience preferred

Lead departmental initiatives and collaborate with providers

Participate in interviewing and onboarding new medical director

EMR: Epic

Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

WA license, active and unrestricted or IMLC (LOQ in hand)

Board Certified-OBGYN

2 years leadership experience.

BLS
