**Locums OBGYN needed in Clinton, NC**
Located 35 miles from Fayetteville and 70 miles from Wilmington
**Coverage Dates Needed:**
June 14th, 2024 at 8am through June 17th, 2024 at 8am (24 hr call coverage each day)
July 5th, 2024 at 8am through July 8th, 2024 at 8am (24 hr call coverage each day)
**Position Details**
- Call only
- Inpatient only
- Temp privileges are available
- Provider will round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Provider also available for any emergent GYN procedures. High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our
facility). High risk transfer to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU - both approx. 30-45 mins. Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional.
- Provider will be housed in hospital apartments adjacent to facility.
- Provider must be within 20 mins per hospital bylaws.
- Hospital will call cell phone.
- Admissions are required
- Facility will accept multiple providers
- Estimated credentialing time: 10 days
- Prefer candidates within driving distance or airfare/travel must be capped at $500

**Candidate Requirements**
- Must be BC or BE
- NC license required
- NC DEA required
- Enrolled in NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Must be actively delivering babies (must submit case logs for past 24 months)

**Skills Required**
Low risk pregnancy
OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
- Level I/Screening (viability) - preferred
- Level II/Targeted (anatomic) - preferred
Routine delivery:
- Vaginal
- Low forceps
- Decision-making for c-section
Complicated delivery:
- C-section
- Breech
- Multiple births
- Abruptions
- VBAC's
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy,
Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
Surgical gynecology:
- Open
- Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation
- Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
