Overview:
- Join an established group of 9 Physicians, 9 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC), and 9 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)
- As a Clerkship Director of Ob/Gyn, the candidate will have dedicated administrative time (4 hours) every week and will be responsible for clinical teaching of medical students, providing feedback, and formal evaluations
- Collegial working environment with group employed model
Gynecology
- Minimal invasive GYN surgical skills a must (vaginal, laparoscopic, or robotic)
- General Gynecology clinic
- Advanced hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgeries available, including DaVinci robot
- UroGyn, GynOnc, and REI services are available
- Regional travel to our outreach clinics 1-2 days/week
Obstetrics
- 1-2(12hr) inpatient call shifts per month to maintain obstetrical skills.
- We have an established OB Hospitalist group providing regular Inpatient coverage along with 24-hr
- LDR model with Level 1 Nursery and growing obstetric practice of approximately 1,000 deliveries/year, with Albany Medical Center serving as our Regional Perinatal Center
- Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record; Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs
- Medical school campus for Columbia University, with an academic appointment available
