- Work Dates Needed: Starting in May 2024. 1 weekend/month except for 5 weekend months, where they have 2 weekends/month.
- Preferred Schedule: 24-hr Call Friday5p - Monday7a
- Worksite Setting: Inpatient/;Beeper call within 15 minutes
- Scope of Work: The Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) specialist at the Polson, MT facility manages diverse obstetric scenarios, encompassing low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR pattern interpretation, obstetric ultrasounds, and various delivery modes like vaginal, cesarean sections, and VBAC procedures. Gynecological responsibilities include IUD insertions, cystoscopies, colposcopies, and LEEP procedures, along with surgical interventions such as open and laparoscopic approaches for conditions like ectopic pregnancies and cystectomies. Weekend coverage as the sole OBGYN specialist demands proficiency in all required procedures, including D&C and mini-laparotomy tubal ligation, highlighting the need for adaptability and clinical acumen to ensure comprehensive patient care during call duties. Hospital does approximately 52 deliveries per year.

- Pay Rate: $1650/24-hr Call (includes 3 hrs. patient contact) / $250/hr. Call back (after 3 hrs. gratis)
