• Weekdays and weekends

Clinical Details

• No practice scheduled patients
• Other OB/GYNs not onsite during locum coverage
• Labs & Ultrasound onsite
• Level 1 nursery
• Gestational age of deliveries: 32 weeks or 1500 grams
  • Anything less than 32 weeks or 1500 grams is transferred
• Number of deliveries on average per month: 30/month
• Onsite OBs on the unit would be covering any OB/GYN emergencies that present to the ED
  • backup will not be available and the ED would have to manage until the OB is available

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active OH License
  • Not accepting providers needing to obtain license
• ACLS
• Flu vaccine
• Covid vaccine - Preferred
• 100% Clean background
• Local providers only
• Required duties/procedures:
  • Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
  • OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
  • OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation
  • Amniocentesis
  • Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
  • VBAC’s
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
  • Surgical Gynecology – Open
  • Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) – Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’s
  • Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA’s, Chromal Tubation
