FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
- $260,000 to $280,000 Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This non-profit practice was originally founded in the 1970s and, over the last five decades, has evolved into a robust, compassionate organization serving San Antonio’s most vulnerable residents. They have regularly added services, sites, and team members over the years, currently offering pediatrics, family medicine, and women’s healthcare, along with dentistry, optometry, a pharmacy, and more. They boast a team of more than 40 physicians, 6 behavioral health providers, and more than 50 advanced practice providers. They are currently seeking a new OB/GYN physician due to growth.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new OB/GYN physician will work under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, providing quality healthcare to a diverse community-based patient population. Physicians provide ambulatory patient care at an assigned clinic, inpatient care at select hospitals in accordance with the privileges granted, and participate in the call schedule for after-hours coverage of OB/GYN patients.

The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- provide general physical examinations
- make medical evaluations to diagnose and treat illnesses and diseases
- analyze test findings and process lab results to diagnose health conditions
- administer treatment plans
- prescribe medications as indicated by protocol
- advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention
- make referrals to specialists when necessary
- provide coverage for other physicians and APPs when necessary

Full-time OB/GYN physicians perform an average of 25 deliveries and 450 outpatient visits per month. Office visits are approximately 25% GYN and 75% OB.

The practice uses the NexGen EHR and physicians are supported by clinical assistants in all settings.

The new physician will participate in a shared on-call rotation with flex time off and a focus on work/life balance in a family-friendly environment. During the interview process, the hiring manager will explain in detail the breakdown of hospital v. clinic work, how frequent on-call is, etc.
