Schedule
- 7a - 7a
- Weekend required/on-call
- 7 days per month stretches
- All shifts end the following day at 7a
- June 18-26
- June 30-July 5
- Aug 26-31
- Oct 10-16
- Nov 21-31
- Dec 23-31
Clinical Details
- Clinic and Call/24 Hour shift/ 2 locations
- Patient population, Adult, Adolescent; Number of beds, 10; Admissions, Clinic 16-25; inpatient 3-6
- NICU available staffed with neonatal nurse practitioner with tele-neonatologist back-up.
- All obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases.
- Physician working in clinic seeing ob/gyn patients for new obstetrics, established obstetrics, new gynecology issues, and surgical consultations.
- Physicians working with CRNA's and midwives
- Required procedures/job duties: all OB/GYN procedures including more than 5 c-section in the last 24 months & more than 5 hysterectomies in the last 24 months. Need to have procedure log at time of presentation
- 50 births a year for per facility
- Surgical blocks are twice per week for non-emergent surgeries
Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN or Truly BE (within 3 years of residency completion)
- Active KS License - HIGHLY PREFERED, OPEN TO CANDIDATES WILLING TO OBTAIN IMLC.
- Active BLS
- Clean Malpractice/background - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Procedure case logs for a minimum of 24 months; at least 5 hysterectomies, 5 deliveries, and at least 5 c-sections - REQUIRED AT PRESENTATION
- COVID VACCINATED - REQUIRED
Call
- Pager
- 24 Hour shift
- Include all obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases
Support Staff
- Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN, CRNA's and midwives
- Facility has back-up with skilled general surgeons, urologist, critical care physicians and cardiologists.
