Yuma Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Director of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

The medical director of the women’s health service line is responsible for serving as a clinical leader of both the outpatient and inpatient areas. The director is responsible for maintaining a culture of excellence, ensuring quality of care for patients, meeting value based care metrics, and creating collaboration between physicians and APPs. The director will work closely with the women’s health practice director and the executive medical director for primary care.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee clinical functions in the outpatient and inpatient units of the women’s health service line.
2. Foster teamwork and collaboration between outpatient obstetrics and gynecology office and inpatient laborist team.
3. Create a cohesive care experience for patients.
4. Participate in practice improvement across both areas of supervision.
5. Support physicians and advanced practice practitioners in their clinic roles.
6. Collaborate with executive medical director to ensure quality of care.
7. Responsible for value based metrics related to women’s health.
8. Conduct ongoing assessments of all clinical activities in the service line.
9. Lead service line meetings.

Qualifications

1. MD or DO
2. Hold or be eligible, for an Arizona State Medical License
3. Board certification in OB/GYN
4. 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in leadership
5. BLS, ACLS certification

Working Hours

Salaried; Monday-Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
