Shifts - Days
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs the professional services of an Obstetrician/Gynecologist.
- With the approval and coordination of the Medical Director, establishes clinical standards for the rendering of quality medical care.
- Provides a full range of ambulatory medical care, including assessment, examination, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral as necessary.
- Specific tasks may be delegated to other members of the staff: consistent with legal restrictions and quality care.
- In consultation with the Medical Director, assists in developing policies, procedures and programs for the delivery of ambulatory and inpatient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from a recognized medical school and possess a M.D. Degree.
- Currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Alabama or eligible to become licensed.
- Completed one year of internship and have at least one year of experience in ambulatory healthcare. Completion of residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
