The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jefferson Abington Hospital is now recruiting candidates for full-time, employed faculty Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians. Join our diverse team of nationally and internationally renowned providers, researchers and educators who are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our patients and communities. This job is located in Abington, Pennsylvania, 12 miles north of Philadelphia, in Montgomery County. The Division supports the MFM needs of the Abington service area. The selected physicians will provide maternal fetal medicine services to patients (obstetric ultrasounds, consultations, antenatal procedures and services) within Jefferson Abington Hospital inpatient and outpatient facilities; will participate in the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows; and will collaborate in clinical research opportunities. Academic appointments are through Thomas Jefferson University/Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate and Professor level.

The Abington Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology includes over 60 physicians, 10 Certified Nurse Midwives, 27 Nurse Practitioners, 12 Sonographers, plus supporting administrative and clinical staff. The department also supports 23 residents, and works closely with the Jefferson enterprise MFM team, which includes 14 MFM Physicians.

A strong record of excellence in clinical education is preferred, and a record of scholarly contributions is highly desirable. Applicants must have MD/DO degree and be board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology, and the subspecialty of maternal fetal medicine.
