OB/GYN Opportunities - Peru, IN
Dukes Memorial Hospital, part of the Lutheran Health Network, is seeking two OBGYN physicians for community-based, hospital employed practice. You’ll have the opportunity to have an impact on your patients in this small, but growing community. Experienced physicians or new residents welcome! Indiana ranks in the top 5 of all States in being the friendliest, in the nation, for Physicians due to tort reform! Dukes is located in Peru, IN along the historic Wabash River. Peru, known as the Circus Capital of the World, offers substantially lower cost of living, an established school system with advanced student curriculum, affordable housing varieties, recreational lake activities, live performing theaters, museums, state parks, and hiking trails. Peru is just 1 hour from Indianapolis, 2.5 hours from Chicago, and 50 minutes from Fort Wayne.

Highlights of Practice:
· 4 clinic days/week with flexible hours
· Primary practice location next to hospital
· Highly engaged and well-trained labor and delivery nurses
· Hospital averages 20 deliveries/month
· APP collaboration, if desired (NP or Midwife)
· In network Level III NICU in Fort Wayne
· Caring and attentive support service team
· In network access to sub specialty and tertiary care
· Supportive, collaborative hospital leadership structure
Comprehensive Compensation Package Will Be Offered and May Include:
· Guaranteed Salary plus wRVU incentive
· Commencement Bonus
· Relocation Expenses
· Medical Education Loan Repayment Assistance
· CME and Vacation
· Retirement and Enhanced Healthcare Benefits

Dukes Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient care. Accredited by the Joint Commission and part of the Lutheran Health Network, a variety of services are offered including diagnostic imaging such as MRI, CT, and Nuclear, medical and surgical care, women’s obstetrical center, sleep lab, full-service laboratory, and 24–hour emergency care. Dukes is also an accredited chest pain and stroke center, in addition to a full scope of other medical care expertise within the Lutheran Health Network. The medical and administrative team is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care with the best possible experience to every patient, every time as making a positive impact on our community.
