Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westchester Medical Center, the flagship of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is seeking an Obstetrician Gynecologist to be based at Westchester Medical Center, a 600-bed hospital, which serves as the primary teaching affiliate for New York Medical College. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified clinician to advance in an expanding and strong obstetrical and gynecological program. The department has a residency program in OB/GYN with 17 residents with dedicated residents to the GYN services.

Full clinical and administrative support will be provided to help build a world class advanced gynecology division in collaboration with an expanding full scope gynecology department including Materenal and Fetal Medicine with ultrasonography, Minimally Invasive and Complex family planning, Urogynecology and a strong Gynecology Oncology division in place. The division will have ample operating room block times with easy access to a brand new dual console DaVinci Robotic XI system.

There is a brand new state of art outpatient offices with full staffing and a robust clinical support with midlevel providers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The successful applicant must be Board Eligible/Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and have current clinical experience on a busy obstetrical service, strong minimally invasive skills, and active involvement in an academic setting. We are seeking a candidate at an assistant or associate professor level who possesses excellent clinical, communication, interpersonal skills and is committed to patient care, residents, fellows and medical student's education and scholarly activity that advance clinical medicine. Participation in teaching activities with medical students, residents, fellows and other medical staff members, as well as scholarly contributions and collaborative research are expected.
