Cartersville is a great place to live and raise a family, with an excellent school system. The world’s busiest airport, Atlanta Hartsfield International is less than an hour away. The foothills of the Appalachian mountains are a short drive away, and there are innumerable outdoor recreation opportunities, including the Cohutta Wilderness, as well as many nearby lakes
We are a progressive OB/GYN independent practice looking to add a physician. Cartersville is located on I-75 and our county (Bartow) is within commuting distance of metro Atlanta, with all that this growing and increasingly cosmopolitan urban area has to offer. This of course includes major league sports, colleges and universities, museums, music venues, and the amenities one would expect from a major city. We like to say we are close enough to enjoy all the advantages of a big metro area without the downsides of traffic, high population density, etc. and we get to have the numerous advantages of smaller town life, such as feeling more connected to the community, and enjoying long term relationships.

The candidate should be board certified or board eligible. An interest in minimally invasive GYN surgery is considered a plus. The physicians have a very collegial relationship, and will gladly mentor the incoming physician as needed to get them up to speed in the O.R. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience, and partnership track is an option.
