**OB/GYN opening in Waterloo, Iowa** H1B/J1 Visa Eligible **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent position - Employed - Physician will join a team of 5 OB/GYN and 6 midwives - Busy practice with loyal patient base - Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to their preferences - Nurse Triage service is first line for all patient calls outside business ours and covers routine labor an OB questions - Experienced, trustworthy labor an delivery nursing staff with low turnover.  - Newly expanded and state of the art labor, deliver, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) suites- 24 beds - 2 Full-time Neonatologists with Level 3 NICU- Transfer out potential deliveries under 30 weeks - 24/7 access to highly collegial and responsive MFM  consult with a simple direct phone call. - Excellent backup from SICU, IR, Urology and General Surgery.  - Over 1300 deliveries in 2021 - Hospital has been designated a Minimally Invasive Gynecology Center of Excellence by AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists) and Surgical Review Corporation - Physician well-being and sustainability are emphasized. - Financially healthy and growing System. - Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination **Responsibilities:** - Office services/procedures: Range from OB and GYN services: Colposcopies, LEEPs, hysteroscopy using Endosee, IUD inserts and removal, Nexplanon, endometrial biopsies. - Patients of all ages have access to wide variety of services including annual wellness visits, obstetrics, prenatal care, ultrasounds, gynecology, birth control, hormone management services. - 4 day/week clinic schedule with flexible hours: surgery block built within that schedule: full support staff - Clinic hours vary per site Monday-Thursday and Fridays when on call for the weekend. - Call will be 1:6 with routine three-day weekend when you are not on call. - Average 18-26 patients per day - Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve  **Qualifications:** - MD or DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN - Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa - Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice - Eligible to work in the United States **Compensation/Benefits:** - Initial 2-year salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program - Attractive incentive package - A competitive  Total Rewards  program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. - Generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more - Dedicated provider resources to positively impact providers work-life balance - Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, including a free third-party service for loan restructuring and consolidation. - A commitment to ensuring you have a voice that is heard regardless of role, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.  - Support and  development opportunities  that are a crucial part of delivering a remarkable employment experience.  - A  culture  guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing whats right for the people we serve. **Community Details:** Waterloo and Cedar Falls comprise a metro area of more than 107,000 residents who are proud to call the Cedar Valley home.
