JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical Center in central Alabama is now searching for a BC/BE OB/GYN to join its existing women's health practice with one other physician. 4D ultrasound in clinic and VRMC delivered nearly 400 babies last year. Excellent opportunity for experienced physician or new graduate looking for better quality of life and a place where they can make a difference. Call pay above 10 days monthly.
Recruitment Package may include:
30K sign on bonus
Base salary + wRVU production incentive
5 days' CME + $5K CME allowance annually

HOSPITAL:
Medical center is an almost 200-bed acute care facility and offers an extensive list of services including ICU, a 24-hour Emergency Department, Radiology, 64-Slice CT scanner and a state-of-the-art MRI station.
The facility offers a full array of patient-centered, community hospital and regional referral services in all the major medical disciplines including obstetrics, a sleep lab and cardiac catheterization. VRMC is proud to partner with the local medical school to provide the teaching environment for residency programs nursing students.
Other services include digital mammography, ultrasound, obstetrics, orthopedic surgery, cardiac catheterization laboratory, interventional radiology and cardiology services, pediatric unit, inpatient and outpatient surgery, laboratory, inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, 24-hour hospitalist service, sports medicine, nutrition counseling, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, Sleep Lab, Fitness Center and community education initiatives.
