Job Description

An eastern Iowa based client is seeking an excellent OB/GYN to provide care to patients of all ages in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center and will require 24 weekly hours in outpatient and 60 deliveries per month. This role involves providing comprehensive OB/GYN services including preventative and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

Required Qualifications

  • Residency trained physician
  • Current IA state medical license
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current CPR certification
  • 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Complete 24 hours in outpatient clinic and on call for deliveries
  • Diagnose, evaluate, and perform follow up care in all aspects of obstetrics
  • Provide equitable care to all populations
  • Document patient encounters efficiently and comprehensively, according to organization policy
  • Refer patients to other providers as clinically indicated
  • Supervise and direct mid-level providers to best delegate for patient care
