OB/GYN needed on the Rockaway Peninsula in NY starting as soon as credentialed.
Details:
- BC/BE in OB/GYN
- Schedule: M-F, 9a-5p
- BLS Required
- Credentialing is approximately 30 days.
- $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
- $Competitive Hourly pay + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
Responsibilities:
- The OB/GYN will work cooperatively with other allied health providers including the nurses, medical team assistants, counselors, social workers, psychologist, psychiatrist, pharmacists, nutritionist and laboratory technologist in providing comprehensive team health care.
- Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients with acute illness.
- Preventive care, consisting of periodic physical examination, immunizations, health education and preventive screening.
- Referral and follow-up for patients requiring in-patient care.
- Will be required to be on telephone “on-call” coverage, for patients.
- The OB/GYN will be required to participate in other Health Center related tasks as directed by the Medical Director. These may include but not limited to Quality Assurance, Patient Education in the Community, Completion of Survey, etc.
- To follow the guides as provided in the Policy and Procedures Manual for OB/GYN Medicine.
