LONG-TERM LOCUMS 6-12 MONTHS!!
Pay Rate: Competitive Pay + Paid Travel, Lodging, and Med Mal
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Rotation: 7-on / 7-off (6-12 Months)
Key Responsibilities

Inpatient & ICU Coverage: Manage overnight inpatient coverage for the Adult Care Unit and a 4-bed, low-acuity open ICU.

Admissions & Cross-Coverage: Evaluate and admit patients from the ED/Urgent Care (avg. 3 admissions/night; 10–20 cross-cover census).

Clinical Independence: Perform histories, physicals, diagnostic interpretation, and treatment plans with high autonomy.
- Patient Transfers: Manage critically ill patients within facility capabilities and coordinate regional transfers (Flagstaff/Phoenix) when higher-level ICU or subspecialty care is required.
- Workload: Light-to-moderate volume (avg. 10 pages/calls per shift; no outpatient duties).

Onsite Support: Clinical backup from Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, and Anesthesia for procedures.
Candidate Requirements

Education: MD or DO from an accredited U.S. residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds.

Board Certification: Board Certified by ABIM or ABFM (Board Eligible considered for recent residency graduates).

Experience: Minimum 6 months of Nocturnist experience; active practice within the last 6 months.

Licensure: Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license (federal facility).

DEA & Life Support: Active DEA (Schedules II–V) and current BLS & ACLS (PALS & NRP required for Med-Peds covering pediatrics).
