Job description We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused OB/GYN Nocturnist to join the team in Colorado. This role is ideal for physicians passionate about high-quality inpatient obstetric care who prefer a night-focused schedule in a modern, supportive environment.

-Schedule: 6–12 nocturnist shifts per month; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
-Location: Longmont, CO.
-Team: Collaborative group of 8 OB/GYN physicians and 4 APPs.
-Charting: EPIC EMR.


  • Financial: Annual salary range of $291,000 – $324,000 plus potential quality/productivity bonuses.

  • Relocation: Assistance may be offered to eligible candidates.

Job Responsibilities

-Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care overnight, including labor management, deliveries, and postpartum care.
-Manage gynecologic consults and urgent assessments for acute issues during night shifts.
-Coordinate emergency obstetric situations, including rapid response for maternal or fetal complications.
-Collaborate with multispecialty teams and ensure smooth handoffs to day teams.
-Support the training and mentoring of residents or APPs as applicable.

Qualifications

-Board Certification: Required in OB/GYN (No exceptions).
-Licensure: Active Colorado Medical License (or willing to obtain).
-Credentialing: Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) and active DEA required prior to start.
-History: Clean malpractice is highly preferred.
-Visa Support: Unable to support J1 or H1B visa candidates.

Working Hours

-Shifts: Nocturnist shifts (12-hour rotations).
-Weekend Requirements: Shifts may include weekends based on a flexible monthly schedule.
-On-Call: In-house overnight coverage; no separate on-call required.

Skills

-Expertise in high-volume labor management and emergency obstetric interventions.
-Proficiency in EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and consults.
-Strong communication skills for multispecialty collaboration and patient handoffs.
