Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight shifts

• Admit and manage acute medical conditions from the Emergency Department

• Perform cross-coverage for hospitalized patients

• Respond to rapid response calls and clinical emergencies

• Collaborate closely with intensivists, specialists, and nursing staff

• Ensure thorough documentation and handoff communication

• Utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely charting

• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Eligible for South Carolina State medical licensure

• Active or eligible DEA registration

• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
