A well-established hospital medicine program in Troy, New York is seeking full-time Nocturnists to join an employed hospitalist team in a physician-friendly environment.
This is a 100% inpatient opportunity featuring a closed ICU model, strong system support, and a flexible 7 on/7 off schedule. ICU providers manage ICU patients, while Nocturnists focus on inpatient care, admissions, and running rapids and codes.
Both experienced physicians and upcoming 2026 graduates working toward Board Certification are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage average census of 15–18 patients
• Run rapids and codes
• Coordinate with ICU team (ICU managed by intensivists)
• Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary staff
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
• Active NY License (or ability to obtain)
• DEA Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Clean malpractice and license history preferred
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• No lapsed board certifications
Working Hours
