Nocturnist Opportunity - $320K+ - 7-on/7-off - Syracuse, NY

Position Highlights:

• Hospital-employed Nocturnist opportunity at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
• 7-on / 7-off rotation with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Weekends are included as part of the 7-on/7-off schedule.
• No additional on-call requirements beyond scheduled overnight shifts.
• Closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients.
• High-acuity inpatient setting with strong subspecialty support.
• Physician-led governance structure with a collegial Hospitalist team.
• Opportunity to work in a well-established hospital environment with EPIC EMR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight inpatient coverage (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients.
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $320,320, annually, with final compensation thoughtfully tailored based on experience & exceptional skills (to be discussed in detail during the interview process)
• Starting Bonus: $15,000.
