A hospital in Farmington, Missouri (one hour south of St. Louis) is in need of a Nocturnist for locum tenens coverage, starting as soon as credentialed (targeting start date between late February to early April 2024).
  • Ongoing coverage needed.
  • Targeting a start date between late February to early April 2024.
  • 10-14 shifts/month (7on/7off preferred).
  • 12 hour shifts, 7p-7a.
  • Including weekends so there is not a break in coverage.
  • Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days
Expenses Covered:
  • Lodging/Hotel
  • Flights (if distance is over 150 miles)
  • Mileage (if distance is under 150 miles)
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance w/ tail coverage.
Location: Farmington, MO (~70 miles south of St. Louis)

  • Practice setting: Inpatient / ICU / Rounding / Admitting / Central line / intubation / paracentesis / thoracentesis.
  • Do APPs Provide Coverage? No but here to work with the physicians for support. No admission privileges.
  • Will Other Hospitalists be Present During Locum's Coverage? Yes
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: ADMISSIONS: 8-10. ICU: 5-6. INPATIENT: 40
  • Areas of Rounding – What floors? Med-Surg ICU
  • Number of ICU Beds: 6
  • Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Requirements:
  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • Covid Vaccinated - REQUIRED
  • MO License - REQUIRED - no exceptions
  • Provide availability at time of presentation
  • Clean background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions
