We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide adolescent inpatient psychiatric care on a locum basis. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers a structured inpatient environment, a predictable weekday schedule, and no on-call responsibilities. Job Responsibilities
🏥 Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adolescent inpatient populations
👥 Manage an average daily census of 8–10 patients
📝 Conduct psychiatric evaluations, daily rounds, and treatment planning
🔄 Manage 1–2 admissions and discharges per day
🤝 Collaborate with multidisciplinary inpatient care teams
💻 Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
⚡ Participate in orientation and required training sessions
Qualifications
MD (Doctor of Medicine)
Board Certification in Psychiatry 🧠
Active Massachusetts medical license 📜
Experience treating adolescent inpatient populations 👩⚕️
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills 📝
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team 🤝
Comfortable using EMR systems 💻
Working Hours
Full-time, Monday–Friday 🗓️
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 🕘
30-minute unpaid lunch break 🥪
No on-call responsibilities 🚫📞
