Neurology Opportunity - COLUMBIA MO (This family-oriented, Division I college town is brimming with school spirit and has an excellent public school system (AAA rating) with private options available. This charming community has a low cost of living and is near two major metropolitan areas.

Missouri Medical Group’s Neurology Institute is looking to add a NEURO-HOSPITALIST to its total team of three physicians and six advanced practice providers. The candidate will be working at Boone Hospital Center, an award-winning, 395-bed, 5-star rated hospital supported by a team of four inpatient nurse practitioners, in addition to one of the three neurologists taking call when not on duty. Duties while on call with include hospitalist

Competitive Compensation
  • ~$2,000 per shift

The Opportunity
  • Block scheduling: 7 on, 7 off
  • 10-15 average daily patient volume
    • Acute Stroke
    • Rehab
    • General neurological consults
  • Open ICU with Intensivist coverage
  • No admitting to ICU
  • No procedures or codes
