A multispecialty neuroscience group in the greater Boston area is looking for outpatient Neurologists to join their team. Candidates with specific clinical interests will have the ability to build a subspecialty-focused practice.

The Position:

  • Must be BE/BC in Neurology, additional subspecialty training optional
  • Join a team of 10 Neurologists supporting multiple locations
  • Full-time outpatient schedule, typically Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
  • There is a neurohospitalist supporting the practice, so hospital rounding during the day will only be necessary when the neurohospitalist is on vacation
  • Average of 18 patients per shift, with the ability to see more if desired
  • Evening and Weekend call is currently 1:5 and will increase to 1:6 with the next new hire
  • Each physician has their own secretary who assists with scheduling, rooming, and triage.
  • Employed position, will consider J1 or H1 applicants
  • EMR system is eClinicalworks

The Rewards:

  • 2-year contract with a guaranteed base salary of $290,000-$300,000
  • Incentive package based on productivity targets
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance negotiable
  • Employed position with partnership eligibility after 3 years

  • The group services multiple locations in the Merrimack Valley of Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, including two area hospitals
