Would you like 365 days of summer? The UTRGV School of Medicine Department of Neurology is recruiting General and Adult Neurology subspecialists to support a growing program and our clinical enterprise UTHealth Rio Grande Valley. The successful candidate(s) must have excellent clinical and teaching skills and dedicated to pursuing an academic career in Neurology. They will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a part of a team. Responsibilities will include evaluation and management of patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. The candidate should have expertise in education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Examples of needed subspecialties include movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, neurophysiology, vascular neurology, and MS/demyelinating disease. However, any subspecialty in neurology and general neurologists will be considered.
Interested candidate should possess ABPN Board certification in neurology, board eligibility is acceptable for recent graduates of neurology training programs, have or be eligible for a Texas Medical license.
