Seeking an experienced BC or BE Neurologist to join a neurology practice in eastern North Carolina. Candidates with subspecialty interest or fellowship training in Movement Disorder, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular, Headache, or MS are encouraged to apply.
• Employed position
• Position available due to programmatic expansion
• Opportunities exist for outpatient only or an inpatient/outpatient combination
• The existing neuroscience team consists of 8 neurosurgeons, including 2 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, stroke neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Monday – Friday schedule for outpatient, practice call only
• For sub-specialties, 25% general neurology and 75% sub-specialty when fully staffed
• Strong inpatient support at Medical Center
• Medical Center is home to a newly expanded 24-bed NSICU led by Neurointensivist as well as a large rehab center providing both inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients
• Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID
