Epilepsy Neurology Physician in Arkansas

Merritt Hawkins is proud to partner with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to grow their Neuroscience service line within the Department of Neurology. Housed in the Jackson T. Stephens Spine and Neurosciences Institute, The UAMS Epilepsy Center is a state-of-the-art comprehensive, Level IV epilepsy center certified by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) as well as the leading tertiary referral center in the state. The successful candidate will have a desire to teach medical students, residents and fellows however, candidates from both private practice and academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Some highlights of the position are as follows:
  • Join a dynamic and busy practice with the only Adult Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center in the state
  • Academic practice opportunity with the ability to teach medical students and residents
  • The Epilepsy Center includes outpatient clinics, EEG laboratory, four-bed in-patient epilepsy monitoring unit and surgical services
  • Multidisciplinary team includes epileptologists, functional neurosurgeon, neuroradiologists, and neuropsychologists
  • Leadership opportunities available for candidates with experience
  • Resources exist for basic, clinical, or translational research
