Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385 bed hospital and Comprehensive Stroke Center that serves a catchment area of approximately 700,000 people. We have a great need for stroke trained/experienced outpatient Neurologists who are also willing to participate as teaching faculty for our ACGME Neurology Residency program. Your main objectives will be to provide coverage for the ACGME Neurology Continuity Clinic, supporting our Comprehensive Stroke Center and meet our growing community need. • Employed Foundation model – competitive compensation and benefits
• Outpatient site adjacent to hospital
• Each physician will have teaching responsibility (in-house Neurology residents)
• Direct teaching/faculty experience highly preferred
• Stroke neurology experience necessary to support comprehensive stroke center, at minimum Primary Stroke Center experience
• Outpatient clinic Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Attendees handle after hours call for inpatient side
• Call: Outpatient practice triaged by after-hours call in number

Candidates must be Board Certified in Neurology, Stroke fellowship training highly preferred, experience at a Primary Stroke Center required. Active CA license, or in process preferred. Please send CV for immediate consideration.
