The locum tenens neurology opportunity in California

-Duration: Now-open and on-going (90+ days, may consider conversion to permanent)

-Location: 1 hour north of San Francisco, CA

-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (2-4 weeks per month)

>no nights, no call

-Scope: Outpatient clinic predominately, but will have to get inpatient privileges for occasional consults and possible rounding (must have inpatient experience within the last 24 months)

-Patients: 14-18 per day

-Patient Mix:

Epilepsy, headache/ migraines (botox skills nice to have), Parkinson’s disease, dementia/ Alzheimer’s, MS (must be familiar with MS meds), tremors, neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, Huntington’s disease. No sleep disorders, no neuro-psych, no neuro-ophthalmology, no patients under 18. EEG’s mandatory, EMG and NCS not as much but nice.

-Cerner EMR

-Hospital: 181 bed, level III trauma, not-for-profit

-Required: Board certified or board eligible (within 7 years of training)
