One of North Carolina's health systems is seeking a general neurologist for a primary stroke center. The community has a large demand, so the facility is reviewing new candidates. The position is primarily outpatient, but 10-15% of cases are inpatient. You will have a five day work week with 1:6 call and can expect to see 20 patients per day on average. You will be supported by medical staff and other neurologists. The facility prefers a neurologist who is comfortable with TPAs. A physician comfortable with EEGs and EMGs is also preferred, but not required. You should be board certified or board eligible. An NC medical license will be required, and we can assist you with the processing and application. Current residents and fellows are encouraged to apply. H-1B and J1 visa holders can be supported.

You will receive a competitive compensation package, bonuses, a sign-on bonus, and $10K relocation reimbursement. You will also be provided life insurance, one week CME with a $2700 stipend, a retirement package, medical benefits, four weeks of vacation, and malpractice coverage. A stipend is available for excellent fellows and residents while they finish training.
