Neurology position in Augusta, GA!!
Hospital Employed Setting.
Call 1 in 3 with telemedicine back up coverage.
Office Space available. Medical Office Building located on Hospital's campus. Currently set up to contain three IM, one Pulmonologists, and two OBGYNs.
Prefer candidate who can do EEG interpretation.
Competitive financial package being offered.
Due to not having a full time Neurologist:
Last year - hospital transferred over 70 patients out of ED. Also transferring patients out of ICU when an EEG is ordered. Largest request from physician satisfaction survey last year was for more Neurology availability. Area is underserved by 3 FTE Neurologists.
Hospital will contract with telemedicine company to cover incoming physician.
15 Neurologists in the Primary Service Area.
