Job description
Inpatient Neurology locums in California in need of 24 hour in house call coverage plus inpatient rounding. Adult neurohospitalist coverage at a Trauma Level II hospital.
Highlights:
- Ongoing need due to long term permanent search, solid option for physicians looking for consistent monthly coverage through July 2027
- Structured coverage model, 24 hour in house call with inpatient rounding
- Scribe support provided
- Trauma Level II setting with broad inpatient neurology exposure
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient adult neurology coverage
- Trauma Level II hospital environment
- Clinical scope includes stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, Alzheimer's and other dementias, brain tumors, neurotrauma, and other neurologic conditions
- Census varies
Schedule:
- In house 24 hour on call coverage with inpatient rounding
- 15 minute response time requirement
Requirements:
- Must be an MD or DO
- California license required, will not wait for license
- Board Certified in Neurology
- BLS required
