-- Coverage dates may be flexible within and around the requested dates
-- Temporary privileges available
-- Reason for coverage: Provider on vacation
Shift Details
-- 24-Hour Inpatient Call
-- Approximately 7 shifts per month
-- 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
-- 8 hours onsite for rounding and consults with night pager call coverage
Requirements
-- Physician (MD/DO)
-- Board Certified in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or Neurological Surgery (ABNS)
-- Active Kentucky license or active IMLC license
-- ABLS, ATLS, ACLS certifications
Assignment Details
-- Acute Care Hospital
-- 391 beds
-- 20-bed Neuro ICU
-- Adult patient population
-- EMR: Epic
-- Day shift rounding and consult volume: 10-15 patients daily
-- Night call volume: 5-10 calls per night to review films and determine need for surgery
-- Most night calls do not require coming onsite
-- If onsite evaluation is needed, it is typically once per night
-- Neurointerventional physician will also be on call with the locums physician
