Outpatient Neurology | Full-Time Coverage | 3-Month Assignment

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Neurology MD/DO for an outpatient general neurology clinic in Pennsylvania. This is an office-based position with no hospital coverage and no call. The provider will see a variety of general neurology conditions in an established outpatient clinic setting.

Assignment Highlights

• Full-time coverage needed for approximately 3 months
• Minimum commitment: 2 weeks per month — candidates with less availability will not be considered
• Approximately 20 shifts/month
• Monday–Friday coverage
• Choose either:
  • 4 × 10-hour shifts: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • 5 × 8-hour shifts: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Shift times include a 30-minute lunch break
• 100% adult patient population
• Approximately 15 patients per 8-hour day
• Approximately 19–24 patients per 10-hour day
• Mix of new and established patients, primarily return visits
• APPs maintain their own independent schedules
• Responsibilities include general neurology evaluations, prescription refills, and responding to patient questions relayed through call center staff
• No hospital work
• No call
• EMR: Epic
• Estimated credentialing: 20 days
• Travel assistance available, including mileage, airfare, lodging, parking, rental car/fuel, and ground transportation
• Dates are approximate and pending the start of maternity leave

Typical Cases

General outpatient neurology conditions, including:

• Tremor
• Migraine
• History of CVA
• Multiple sclerosis
• Myasthenia gravis
• Seizure disorders
• Parkinson’s disease
• Dementia

Requirements

• MD/DO – Neurology
• BC/BE
• Active PA License
• PA DEA
• ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Will consider IMLC candidates
• Must be available for at least 2 weeks per month
• Candidates must be comfortable providing outpatient general neurology care
