## General Neurologist | Napa, CA Napa Valley — Northern California Wine Country ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent * Setting: Outpatient neurology * Call: None * EMR: Epic * Stroke Certified facility ## Practice Overview Seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist to fill an ongoing vacancy at an outpatient neurology practice in the heart of Napa Valley: * 12 patients per shift * Support staff includes 2 MAs and 1 office staff * No resident or teaching supervision required * No supervision of advanced practice providers required * Fellowship required ## Preferred Clinical Skills * Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial) * Lumbar puncture, subdural taps, and other diagnostic/therapeutic taps * Thrombolytic therapy * Nerve and muscle biopsy * EEG and EMG * Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) tests * Evoked potentials * Pain management procedures * Peripheral nerve blocks * Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks * Botulinum toxin administration (Botox) * Sleep studies * Disability evaluation ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology * Fellowship required * California license or willingness to obtain — licensing reimbursement not available * Clean background required ## About the Community – Napa, California * World-renowned wine country in the heart of Northern California * Exceptional dining, arts, and cultural scene * Vibrant downtown with boutique shopping and award-winning restaurants * Abundant outdoor recreation including hiking, cycling, and kayaking * Easy access to San Francisco and Sacramento * Ideal climate with warm summers and mild winters * One of the most desirable communities in California to live and work
