Become an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional neurological care. This role involves managing neuro patients within a 365-bed teaching hospital, focusing on stroke and vascular cases. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engage in emergency response for stroke calls, and contribute to the educational development of residents and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for all neuro patients within the hospital.
- Respond to emergency stroke calls in the ER swiftly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage stroke and vascular cases.
- Participate in teaching and learning opportunities to aid in the development of residents and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure high-quality neuro care and timely interventions for acute neurological conditions.
Requirements
- Must have experience in Oncology and/or Hematology. Nurse-oncology/hematology experience will be considered.
- Must be Board Certified (BC) and hold a valid New York State RN license.
