Job description
We are seeking a Neurologist for a locum tenens position in Longview, Washington. This opportunity covers both inpatient and outpatient neurology, with the clinic located within the hospital. Please see below for more information.
- 122-bed acute care hospital
- Adult Trauma Level III/IV
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Cover clinic services located within the hospital; both clinic and hospital privileges required
Perform rounding and admissions
Manage an average daily census of approximately 16 patients
Perform EEG and EMG procedures
Conduct in-house consults while onsite
Care for an adult patient population (ages 17+)
Maintain active clinical practice in neurology
Qualifications
Board Certified in Neurology
Active Washington state medical license required; IMLC accepted
ACLS required
BLS required
Epic charting experience required
Ability to perform EEG and EMG
Working Hours
8-hour clinic shifts
24-hour call in addition to clinic responsibilities
Unrestricted call
Call coverage throughout the coverage week
Call/text volume averages 0-4 in a 24-hour period, managed by phone
In-house consults conducted while onsite
