### Locums | Neurosurgery | Clinic + Call | Eureka, CA (CA License Required) ### Why This Role * Ongoing Neurosurgery coverage with multiple multi-week blocks * Combination of clinic and call responsibilities * Epic EMR * Level III hospital with established neurosurgical support * Complex spine practice with broad neurosurgical case mix ### Assignment Details * Start Date: November 21, 2026 * Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call * Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient * Coverage Dates: * November 21 – December 9, 2026 * December 27, 2026 – January 6, 2027 * Weekday Schedule: Clinic 8:30 AM-5:00 PM followed by night beeper call from 5:00 PM-8:30 AM * Weekend Coverage: 24-hour beeper call * Patient Volume: Approximately 5 patients per day * EMR: Epic ### Requirements * Board Certified Neurosurgeon (Board Eligible within 3-5 years considered) * Active California license * Active DEA * California Fluoroscopy Certification (temporary certificate accepted) * Two years of recent hospital-based neurosurgical practice * Case logs documenting 100 neurosurgical cases within the past 24 months * Updated CV with all hospital affiliations ### Clinical Details * Outpatient clinic and inpatient neurosurgical coverage * General adult neurosurgery and trauma * Complex cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery with and without instrumentation * ICP monitor placement required * VP shunt procedures and tumor surgery preferred * Shared weekday clinic responsibilities with weeknight and weekend beeper call * APP support available during the assignment
