Neurologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled neurologist for an outpatient-focused medical group in New Haven County. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care related to disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and obtain medical histories.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Create and implement treatment plans.
• Initiate appropriate referrals to specialists and hospital programs.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete patient documentation.
• Collaborate with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding.
• Promote wellness and health education.
• Participate in on-call coverage with Neurology providers at a local hospital.
• Provide quality supervision of residents, medical students, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff at the site.

Requirements

• CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required.
• Residency training in Neurology.
• New graduates completing training in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply.
