Position Overview:
A leading neuroscience program in Wethersfield is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Neurologist with Headache specialization for an outpatient assignment at a dedicated headache center.
Position Details:
- Specialty: Cognitive/Headache Neurology
- Setting: Outpatient only
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day
- Start Date: June 2026
- Assignment Length: Through December 2026
- Call: Preferred, but not required
Procedures & Case Mix:
- Management of Migraine and chronic headache disorders
- Botox injections for chronic migraine
- Occipital nerve block injections
- New patient evaluations and follow-ups
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology
- Headache Fellowship required
- Experience with Botox and nerve block procedures
- Active Connecticut license or IMLC eligible
Support:
- Dedicated support staff including MA, nurse, and front desk
- Efficient outpatient workflow
