Primary Stroke Center | Growing Program | Leadership Potential


A leading regional health system is looking to add a fourth Neurologist to join a high-quality, mission-driven program based in Maryland. This is an opportunity to step into a well-supported environment with strong infrastructure, advanced technology, and a clear need for expanded neurological services.


Practice Details

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient neurology with diverse case exposure
  • Work within a state-designated Primary Stroke Center (since 2007)
  • Collaborative environment with neurosurgery, psychiatry, and rehab specialists
  • Supported by a large multi-specialty network of 600+ clinicians
  • Opportunity to help build and define the employed neurology program

Neurology & Stroke Program Highlights

  • Recognized with AHA/ASA Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus awards
  • Treats 600+ stroke patients annually with rapid "Time is Brain" protocols
  • Advanced imaging and diagnostics including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies
  • 24/7 telestroke collaboration with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center vascular neurologists
  • Robust inpatient and outpatient neuro-rehabilitation, including advanced gait and balance technology

Schedule & Call

  • Balanced inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Average 12-15 patients per day in clinic
  • 1:4 call rotation
