Primary Stroke Center | Growing Program | Leadership Potential
A leading regional health system is looking to add a fourth Neurologist to join a high-quality, mission-driven program based in Maryland. Practice Details
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient neurology with diverse case exposure
- Work within a state-designated Primary Stroke Center (since 2007)
- Collaborative environment with neurosurgery, psychiatry, and rehab specialists
- Supported by a large multi-specialty network of 600+ clinicians
- Opportunity to help build and define the employed neurology program
Neurology & Stroke Program Highlights
- Recognized with AHA/ASA Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus awards
- Treats 600+ stroke patients annually with rapid "Time is Brain" protocols
- Advanced imaging and diagnostics including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies
- 24/7 telestroke collaboration with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center vascular neurologists
- Robust inpatient and outpatient neuro-rehabilitation, including advanced gait and balance technology
Schedule & Call
- Balanced inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Average 12-15 patients per day in clinic
- 1:4 call rotation
