Locums – Cincinnati, Ohio, Neurology Job (IMLC Accepted)

Join a collaborative inpatient neurology team at a hospital-based setting, providing critical coverage due to an unexpected provider departure. This is an excellent opportunity for a neurologist seeking short-term coverage with strong team support and a manageable inpatient census.

Coverage Dates: June 29 (8:00 AM) – July 12 (6:00 PM) Ongoing Needs: Additional coverage opportunities available through September/October

Position Highlights:

• 100% inpatient adult neurology

• Rotating weekday and weekend call schedule

• Work alongside experienced neurologists and APPs

• Strong clinical infrastructure with onsite diagnostics

• IMLC candidates accepted

• Rotating weekday and weekend call

• Continuous coverage during assignment dates

• Additional future dates available

• Setting: Hospital

• Patient population: Adult only

• Patient volume: 10–20+ patients per day

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing inpatient neurology cases

• Interpreting radiologic exams (unofficial reads)

• Performing and managing:

  • Thrombolytic therapy

  • EEGs

  • EMGs

  • Brain death examinations

• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams

• 2 physicians in group

• 3 Advanced Practice Providers

• Onsite lab and imaging services

• Collaborative, team-based care model

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified Neurology – required

• Active Ohio license or IMLC – required

• ACLS certification – required
