Overview
A hospital-based neurology locum opportunity is available in Cincinnati, Ohio due to the unexpected departure of a provider. The facility is seeking additional neurologists to help cover scheduling gaps through approximately September or October.
Practice Highlights
• 100% inpatient neurology practice
• Adult patient population only
• 10–20+ hospital patients per day
• 2 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers in the group
• Lab and X-Ray available onsite
• EMR: EPIC
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Active Ohio license or IMLC
• ACLS certification required
• Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges
• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at submission
• Must confirm availability for listed dates and potential coverage through Sept/Oct
Schedule & Coverage
• Coverage Dates: June 29 (8 AM) – July 12 (6 PM)
• Additional coverage needs through September/October
• Hospital inpatient coverage
Required Procedures
• Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
• Thrombolytic therapy
• EEG and EMG interpretation
• Brain death examinations
