- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 13-15 patients per shift. We are seeking a provider to cover the clinic from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, 3-5 days per week starting June 8th, with a preference for full-time coverage but flexible to a minimum of three days per week. This position involves no call, and day-to-day responsibilities focus on outpatient services, with MAs rooming patients and the provider performing assessments, completing charting by the end of the day, and following up on test and lab results. The provider should be comfortable working independently as no other providers will be present. Guaranteed hours are 8 per day, with overtime applying after 9 hours. Candidates must have an active CA license and CA DEA, be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible within 3-5 years of residency, and have a minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient neurology experience, including competence in general neurology (headache, dizziness, neuropathy), migraine management (acute and preventive), epilepsy management, and trigeminal neuralgia, as well as procedural skills in Botox, occipital and peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections. Preferred qualifications include experience managing an established patient panel, EMR documentation and inbox management (EPIC), private practice or community outpatient experience, familiarity with prior authorizations, and ability to handle patient inbox messages independently.

Job Responsibilities
