Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Missouri | Beginning May – Ongoing | Assignment #114106
Coverage Details
-- Two providers requested
-- Flexible shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM | 7 PM – 7 AM | 7 AM – 1 PM
-- Estimated credentialing: 90 days (temporary privileges available)
Shift Description
-- Days, nights, weekends, and potential holidays required
-- No on-call shifts; in-house rounding and consults only
-- Approx. 10 consults per 24-hour period; stroke activations ~10/day (shared with APPs)
Requirements
-- Board Certification required
-- Missouri license or IMLC
-- BLS
-- 24 months of case logs
Additional Details
-- Lumbar puncture and general neuro consults
-- Trauma Level 1 Facility
-- Comprehensive Stroke Center
-- Admissions required for stroke patients treated with TNK or mechanical thrombectomy. Others admitted under hospitalist/intensivist direction
-- Heavy patient volume – provider must be self-motivated
-- Support staff: 9 RNs, 5 APPs
-- EMR: Epic
