Neuro-Ophthalmologist (MD) - 0.6 FTE
Swedish Medical Group is seeking a part-time Neuro Ophthalmologist at the Cherry Hill campus in Seattle, Washington.
Practice Overview:
- Established neuro-ophthalmology practice within the Swedish Neuroscience Institute (10+ years).
- Current team includes 2 Neuro-Ophthalmologist physicians (1.4 FTE total).
- Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology and neurosurgery
- Robust clinical support including patient care coordinators, ophthalmic technicians, and a dedicated clinic RN
Schedule & Volume:
- 0.6 FTE (21.6 patient-facing hours) with a predictable, fixed schedule
- Clinical days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Clinic hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Daily volumes range from 8 to 16 patients, capped at 16 per day
- New patient visits are 60 minutes; follow-up visits are 30 minutes
Procedures & Resources:
- In-clinic Botox procedures with a dedicated half-day block
- Advanced diagnostic tools including OCT, Humphrey and Goldman visual fields, and B-scan ultrasound
- Adult-only patient population with a high consultative referral volume
Call:
- Call coverage about 1 week per month
- Coverage includes multiple Swedish locations
- Call burden is minimal, often with few or no overnight calls

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
